Bob and Fran Medley began their real estate careers in 1988. They work with first-time buyers, individuals and families exploring the upscale housing market, empty-nesters who are downsizing, and transferees.
"Buying or selling real estate is a significant event both financially and emotionally," says Fran, "and transactions are becoming more complex each year. Laws change, disclosures are revised, and contract forms expand. You also have to deal with inspections and other contract contingencies. It's just not as easy to buy or sell a property as it was even five years ago, and certainly no one should attempt it without the help of a professional. There's just too much at stake to leave the results to chance."
"Maintaining open lines of communication is vital," says Bob. "Clients should be informed every step of the way in order to ensure their transactions will be as stress-free as possible. Throughout our association, we strive to exceed our clients' expectations for two major reasons: their success determines our success, and we want clients for life."
Bob and Fran hold several professional designations?ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative); CRS (Certified Residential Specialist); GRI (Graduate, REALTORŪ Institute); and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). Recipients of numerous industry awards, they attend seminars and training sessions throughout the country in order to sharpen their skills and increase their knowledge of marketing strategies. They also conduct first-time home buyer and new construction workshops.
In their leisure, Bob and Fran enjoy golf, gardening, movies, cooking, and family activities with their children, and nine grandchildren. The Medleys make their home in Louisville.
